For the organization thirthy 033 I made an electricity box mural in Utrecht. Everything was done by hand and it was defintely a learning proces!
During my conversation with the neighborhood contact person, she expressed her pride in how green the area is and how much effort everyone puts into maintaining it. She felt that everyone contributes to making it a pleasant place to live.
For this design, I chose to depict two female-like figures caring for the plants in the neighborhood. They nurture the plants so that they grow larger than themselves, allowing the plants to take over the area. Through this design, I aimed to highlight the harmonious and loving relationship between humans and nature, with a focus on collaboration and community. It illustrates how, with the support of the community, nature is not only protected but also helps the neighborhood to flourish and thrive.
Unfortunately the heat and rain was sometimes a bit much so the design had some cracks in the end.
